Part A
In this unit I learned that Economic Globalization is a big part of our economy. It is what helps us become who we are in the world.
I found it really interesting that there are two types of countries. Developed and Developing countries, most of the world is developing but their all become more developed.
I can connect what have learned in class to Film Studies because without economic globalization we would have computers, cameras, t.vs or all of the other electronics.
What surprised me this unit was that the World Bank and IMF were made to help foreign countries but they only make it worse when they "help" the nations.
One concept that I am still having difficulty with is how sweatshops are still running today with lots of people knowing about the horrible thing that happen inside.
One question I still have is are there any small company's trying to fix the problem with the World Bank or IMF.
One skill or learning strategy I found helpful was the word wheel because it helps me connect everything I learned with one another. If I was to teach someone how to use this I would tell them to first to pick 7-9 words. Then to draw how many circles as there are words. Next pick a word and put it in one of the circles. Finally put another word in the circle beside and write a sentence about how their connected, repeat until all circles are filled and connected to one another. This will help them learn about how all the words are connected to one another and to remember the words they use and what they mean/are.

Part B
I will tell you about free trade and what it is. Free trade is where multiple countries reduce their trade barriers like tariffs to make trading easier between them. The process of making a free trade between countries is called trade liberalization. The World Trade Organization is a organization of countries where there is free trade between them. The North American Free Trade Agreement is a agreement between Canada, the United States and Mexico that enable them to trade with each other freely. If you like free trade you don't like protectionism. Protectionism is the belief that only local business should be there. Another term for protectionism is Economic Nationalism.
